Tonight was Wyatt's First Reconciliation, which is, for those not Catholic who are reading, when he goes to talk to the priest to confess his sins and to get absolution. Every student in 2nd grade who is at a Catholic school or going through religious education has to do it before they receive their First Communion. He seemed to be nervous about it all week but today he was as cool as could be about it. He said he knew what he was going to say and didn't care which priest he talked to, which impressed me since the kids always line up for the priest they see every day. He was second in line to go up and was done in a flash, which isn't surprising since the kid is darn near perfect. LOL I think I was more nervous than he was.
One Sacrament down, one to go.

CONGRATULATIONS Wyatt!!! When Sarah did hers last year, they did it during the school day...not too many parents went. Darrell (jill's boy) is doing his Sunday? It's soon. How exciting for 1st Communion this year!!!! Sarah was more nervous for 1st Communion for some reason than Reconciliation.
